Popular Clarion Restaraunt Catches Fire
Clarion – A fire in Clarion Boro destroyed a popular downtown sandwich shop on Easter Sunday. The building holding Bob’s Subs and Sandwiches on Main Street in Clarion may be a total loss. Multiple fire companies were on the scene for several hours battling a fire that reportedly started in an upstairs apartment before sunrise on Sunday morning. There were no reported injuries of tenants in the apartments.
State Rep Holding Open House
Greenville – State Representative Park Wentling who represents portions of Lawrence and Mercer Counties will be holding open houses at his district offices this week. His Mercer County Open House will take place in his Greenville office at 182 Main Street from 10 AM to noon on Thursday, April 13th. The open houses are a chance for residents to meet the office staff and learn about the various services available from your State Representative’s office.
Governor’s Approval Rating
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s first official approval poll shows a 54% approval rating by state residents. 31% of the poll’s respondents disapproved while the remaining 15% were unsure or had no strong opinions. The Poll was conducted by Bullfinch Group and paid for by The Commonwealth Foundation. Approval polls will be conducted every three months.
