False Imprisonment Charges
Franklin – David McCullough of Franklin has been charged with false imprisonment and other crimes after a late August incident. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on August 28th McCullough attempted to resolve a fight between his daughter and another teenage girl by making the other girl come to his home and apologize to his daughter, but his means of accomplishing that involved intimidating the girl into his vehicle without her parent’s permission. He returned the child home after about 40 minutes and was arrested August 30th on charges of false imprisonment, luring a child into a vehicle, and interference with the custody of children. McCullough, who has no prior criminal history in Pennsylvania, was released on bail.

Oil City – PennDOT’s work schedule for the week of September 25th includes the closure of Route 77 between State Street and Dickson Road in Meadville for the replacement of pipes and the reopening of Zuck Road near Erie after the successful installation of a box culvert bridge.
