Two Hydrogen Hubs to Benefit PA
Philadelphia – Pennsylvania will become the only state to benefit from two of the regional clean hydrogen hubs created by investments from the United States Department of Energy. In Philadelphia, the Mid Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub 2 (or MACH 2) will receive about $750 million in Federal investment and create an estimated 21,000 jobs. Southwest PA will benefit from the Appalachian Region Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH) near the border in West Virginia, which received about $975 million and will create an estimated 20,000 jobs.
PA Government Condemns Hamas
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania’s Government firmly took sides with Israel in its ongoing conflict against Hamas in Gaza. This week in the legislature, Senators unanimously approved two resolutions condemning the October 7th attacks on Israeli civilians on the Shabbat while the Representatives of the House approved a resolution urging the United States Congress to support Israel however necessary. Governor Josh Shapiro issued a proclamation supporting Pennsylvania’s Jewish Community and condemning hate, terror, and violence everywhere.
