Crash Kills Three
Centerville – Three young men from Butler County were killed when their car crashed near Centerville in Crawford County.  21-year-old Ronald Pirisi, 19-year-old Joshua Boetnner, and 17-year-old Levi Deal died Saturday night in Athens Township on Centerville Road when the trio was in a car that hit a tree, none of them were wearing a seatbelt and all three were dead by the time first responders made it to the scene. Centerville Fire Chief Tim Huddleson told reporters that the crash scene was difficult to handle even for experienced rescuers.

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Voucher Applications Open
Meadville – Applications for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers are now available at Active Aging Center locations across Crawford County. The vouchers can be exchanged for fresh produce at community-supported farmer’s markets. Motorcycle Collision Injures Two
Linesville – Two men were injured when their motorcycles collided on Route 322 near Linesville on Saturday afternoon. Jamiel Radman and David Bellish, both of Leetonia Ohio, were each hospitalized after they collided in South Shenango Township, Crawford County. Mr. Bellish was taken to Meadville Medical Center for what first responders believed were minor injuries while Mr. Radman was trapped beneath his motorcycle and had to be extracted by first responders, he was airlifted to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown.

Drake Family Sues for Wrongful Death
Youngstown, OH – The family of a man killed in a natural gas explosion in Youngstown Ohio has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against multiple parties that they consider responsible for the incident. The mother and sister of Akil Drake, who was the only fatality in the explosion that injured seven others, are seeking restitution for costs associated with his recovery, funeral expenses, and other damages including pain and suffering. The suit includes the owners of the Realty Building and their property manager, Enbridge Gas, and the contractor whose workers were allegedly unsupervised when the NTSB says they cut a pressurized natural gas line that caused the explosion.
