Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate
Stoneboro – A 22-year-old woman was killed when she crashed her car in Mercer County; she was driving the wrong way down the interstate. Austyn Bayuk of Greenville was traveling north in the southbound lane of I-79 at about 3 a.m. on Sunday morning when she crashed into a guardrail. Investigators report she was declared dead at the scene of the crash. The incident happened in New Vernon Township, near the interchange with Route 358.

Political Debate Turns Deadly
Erie – In Erie, a drunken discussion about politics turned deadly and a man got stabbed. 30-year-old Aujimon Jones-Bishop has been charged with attempted homicide and related crimes in the stabbing of a 27-year-old man during a ‘debate’ at an apartment on Chestnut Street. Police say that on Saturday morning Jones-Bishop attacked his victim with a hooked knife to the stomach, causing a wound so deep it exposed his intestines. It happened during a small party and a witness identified Jones-Bishop as the attacker.
