Police: Man Twists, Breaks Infant Son’s Arm
Stoneboro – A Mercer County man has been accused of breaking an infant’s arm. Cameron Gehr of Stoneboro was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and child endangerment after his severely injured baby was taken to UPMC Greenville in late October. According to police, medical doctors reported injuries to a 7-month-old baby that they believed could only have been inflicted by someone else; the baby had suffered a comminuted spiral fracture to one arm and was also covered in cuts, bruises, and scratches. After an interview with Gehr, State Troopers arrested him on the charges. According to the Cleveland Clinic, a comminuted spiral fracture is caused by twisting forces that break the bone apart in more than two places and radiate in circular patterns from a central area.

Peak deer activity when they are most likely to cross roads takes place between 4 and 10 a.m. and 4 and 8 p.m. as the animals travel to and from sleeping and feeding areas. From October to December bucks will continue to be active at all hours and search for mates on overcast days and moonlit nights which makes them even more likely to be encountered at any time of day.
