Car Hit by Sledding Teen
Spartansburg – In Crawford County, a teenager was hospitalized after colliding with a moving car while sledding. Crash scene investigators say that it was around 3 p.m. on Sunday when a 15-year-old male was riding a wooden sled down his driveway when he ended up on Route 77 and collided with the front end of a Hyundai Elantra that was traveling about 60 miles per hour. According to a crash report, the teenager was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance and had thankfully only suffered relatively minor injuries. The driver of the car and one passenger were unharmed.

Attorney General Warns of Big Game Scams
Harrisburg – In State News, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday is warning Pennsylvania residents to be wary of scams surrounding Super Bowl LIX. The AG warns that there will be many bad actors trying to separate football fans from their money and to be on the lookout for ticket fraud and credit card scams surrounding the event, especially over the internet. Sunday advises that anyone planning on traveling or buying merchandise for the event should stick to websites they are familiar with and he also advises online shoppers not to follow advertisements or links from those websites that promote too-good-to-be-true deals. The AG’s office has further advice and tools to report if you have been the victim of a scam at AttorneyGeneral.gov.
