Police Seek Help Searching for Burglary Suspect
Sugar Grove – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a break-in at a Warren County Pharmacy. Shortly before midnight on Monday, an unknown white male smashed a plate glass window at Darling’s Sugar Grove Health and removed several bottles of medication as well as some candies before leaving. Bulldogs Advance in Playoffs
Meadville – After a Tuesday night victory against DuBois, the Meadville Bulldogs are one step closer to Hershey. On Friday night at 7:00 p.m., the boys will host the Greater Johnstown Trojans at the House of Thrills; if you can’t attend, Pop Radio 98.1 and 100.7 will carry the contest over the airwaves with a pre-game show beginning at 6:45 p.m. Meadville is 16-7 on the season while Greater Johnstown has gone undefeated in 22 contests.
Other Friday night action in D10 includes the Boy’s A Championship Game between Erie First Christian and Youngsville; Rocky Grove and Lakeview will play at Slippery Rock University for the 2AA title; AAA Boys champion Mercer will play Cranberry in a sub-regional matchup; Cathedral Prep and Sharon will square off to determine the AAAA champions; and AAAAAA champions McDowell will visit State College.
On Saturday night, it’s girl’s basketball: Commodore Perry will play against Farrel in the girl’s A championship; in AA it’s the semifinals between Kennedy Catholic and Eisenhower – the winner of that game will play the top dog between Wilmington and Lakeview; AAA girls championship game will take place between Northwestern and Seneca; Fairview and Harbor Creek will tipoff for the AAAA championship game; AAAAA champion Cathedral Prep plays a sub-regional game against Punxetawny; and the AAAAAA champions from Erie will have sub-regional contest against Alderdice.
