Venango County Plans 9-1-1 Move
Oil City – Venango County will move forward with relocating its 9-1-1 call center and Emergency Management Agency to a centralized location in Oil City. The two services are currently housed in separate facilities in different parts of the county, but will be consolidated at the former National Guard Armory along Oil City’s Park Avenue. Moving to the new location will triple the size of the 9-1-1 call center’s space and provide room for the County’s EMA service to keep its equipment in one central location as opposed to two different locations, improving their response times.
