One Hospitalized After Crash
Meadville – Authorities have finally released details about a mid-March crash that hospitalized a Meadville man. Investigators report that 34-year-old Bradley Raun of Meadville was partially ejected from his pickup truck as it rolled on Liberty Street, just outside the Meadville city limits. For unknown reasons, Mr. Raun failed to make a left turn at about 11:30 p.m. on the night of March 15th. He hit a utility pole and then a large rock formation and his truck began rolling until it hit a tree. He was rushed to Meadville Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries.
Plans for Massive Power Plant Revealed
Homer City – A decommissioned coal-burning power plant will find new life as North America’s largest natural gas power plant in Western PA. Indiana County’s Homer City Generating Station will be rebuilt into Homer City Energy Campus and is expected to be operational within two years. The project will create an estimated 10,000 construction jobs and permanently employ at least 1,000 people when completed. Its planners anticipate generating enough electricity to power thousands of homes while also providing power for AI data centers.
