Man Accused of Setting Fire in Governor’s House
Harrisburg – One suspect is in custody after an arson attempt at the Pennsylvania Governor’s Mansion on Sunday morning. 38-year-old Cody Balmer of Harrisburg will be charged with attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated arson, and aggravated assault after his arrest on Sunday. State Police Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris said in a press conference that Balmer was able to evade police to get inside the mansion and set off an incendiary device at around 2 a.m. Governor Josh Shapiro had guests at the mansion to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Passover, but both his guests and family members were able to evacuate without injury.

Motorcycle Hits Car, Injures Two
Erie – In Erie, two people were injured when a car collided with a motorcycle Friday morning. One man and his female passenger were rushed from the scene of the collision on the intersection of West 12th and Cranberry Streets after police say the motorcycle hit a Buick sedan while traveling at high speed at about 6 am. Police are using footage from traffic cameras in the intersection in their investigation. No extra information was provided about the two bikers or the driver of the car.
