Crash Kills one in Crawford County
Blooming Valley – One man is dead, and two other people were injured after a head-on collision in Crawford County Saturday night. The Pennsylvania State Police have not released the names of anyone involved, but just before midnight on Saturday night, two vehicles collided head-on with each other on Route 77 near Blooming Valley. A 29-year-old Meadville man was killed in the crash, and a 57-year-old man and 52-year-old woman were taken to Meadville Medical Center for injuries.

Rite Aid’s Second Bankruptcy Begins
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Consumer Protection is warning residents that Rite Aid Gift Cards, Coupons, and Rewards will no longer be accepted after June 6th, and no returns will be processed after June 4th as part of the company’s bankruptcy proceedings. Rite Aid is a Pennsylvania based company and one of the largest chains of pharmacies in the Commonwealth, with around ¼ of its stores located in the state. Rite Aid has struggled financially for years and filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy for the second time in two years last week. The closure of dozens of PA stores was announced as part of the bankruptcy proceedings. Local closures include East High Street in Union City, Third Street in Conneaut Lake, Franklin Street in Mercer, and West Main Street in Grove City.
