Woman Injured in Motorcycle Accident
Stoneboro – A South Carolina Woman was seriously injured when she crashed on her motorcycle in Mercer County Sunday afternoon. 54-year-old Theresa Collins of Myrtle Beach was traveling south on Interstate 79 in Mercer County. Investigators say her motorcycle hydroplaned when she was traveling at unsafe speeds and crashed into a guardrail near mile marker 126 in Lake Township. Theresa was tossed an estimated 20 feet from her bike and into the woods and was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Grove City.
Seven Arrested in Meth Crackdown
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the arrest of seven suspected methamphetamine dealers in Warren, Elk, McKean, Cameron, and Potter Counties on Tuesday. Chief among them, 31-year-old Benjamin Simms of Cloudersport, is accused of trafficking as much as 40 pounds of methamphetamine in Northern Pennsylvania with the assistance of Kyle Brown of Emporium. Five other suspects from around the region are said to have worked independently. Each is charged with felonies for possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy to deliver, and other crimes.
