Girl Steals Pickup, Crashes in Different County
Mercer – In Mercer County, a teenage girl stole a pickup and caused damage around a farm and conservation area before driving away. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 15-year-old girl ran away from the inpatient mental health facility named Familylinks and stole a pickup from behind Munnel Run Farm in Coolspring Township. While she was driving away from the scene, she hit and damaged several pieces of property and buildings belonging to Mercer County Conservation. The girl was apprehended in Allegheny County after crashing in Wilmington Township.

Planned Phone Outage in Crawford County
Meadville – The Crawford County Commissioners have given advanced warning that there will be a planned outage of the County Services phone system on Monday. On June 30th, an update to the phone system will shut off the phone lines for the Courthouse, Jail, Human Services, and more, but will not affect emergency services such as 9-1-1. County services will remain open for business and continue to be available through email, with the expectation that they will be back online by July 1st.
