Plane Crash Kills Six
Howland, OH – Six people died in a plane crash in Trumbull County, Ohio, on Sunday morning. Four passengers and two crew members were killed at about 7 a.m. Sunday morning. A small plane that had just departed from the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport crashed mere miles away in Howland Township for an undetermined reason. The aircraft was identified as a Cessna 441, and airport authorities said it was heading toward Bozeman, Montana, but was only in flight for seven minutes before crashing. Corrections: An on-air version of this story misidentified Bozeman as a town in Missouri.
Crawford County Phone Outage Today
Meadville – Most of Crawford County’s government services will not be available by phone today. A planned phone outage will likely last all day while an upgrade is made to the switchboard and other systems that manage the phones. County services will be open today for their usual business hours and accessible by email. Emergency services like 9-1-1 will be in full operation and not be affected by this upgrade. Phone service should be restored tomorrow.
