Mercer County Mobile Food Bank
Greenville – The Mercer County Food Bank is hosting a mobile food pantry distribution in Greenville tomorrow morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Income-eligible Mercer County residents can come to St. John’s Lutheran Church on Beil Hill Road Thursday, July 9th, for some food staples and treats while supplies last. This is the second of three planned mobile distributions across Mercer County. An identical mobile pantry will visit Reynolds Elementary School.

Guernsey Ice Cream Social
Mercer – The annual Mercer-Northwest Guernsey Breeders Ice Cream Social happens this Friday, July 10th, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Mercer County 4-H Park. It’s Mercer County’s most anticipated ice cream social of the year! Stop by for all-you-can-eat Guernsey ice cream with strawberries and chocolate sauce, or just pick up a half-gallon and go. This year the price is $8 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under, and children under four can eat for free. Proceeds benefit 4-H and other nonprofit organizations.
