ANNA Events this Weekend
Erie – The ANNA Shelter is holding a rummage sale this Saturday only, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the corner of 10th and Payne Streets in Erie. ANNA has a large amount of items for sale, super cheap; all of it must go, and no reasonable offer will be turned down. All money raised during the summer rummage sale goes to helping animals in need. A rain make-up day for the rummage sale is Saturday, July 18th. 
The Association for Needy and Neglected Animals has been operating as a true no-kill shelter for animals of all kinds since 2004. Team ANNA also invites everyone to join them this Saturday for a rain-or-shine event for the first annual Rainbow Pets Over the Bridge event in Scott Park in Erie at 1:30 p.m. The gathering will honor beloved pets lost to their families in a ceremony of remembrance and hope. During part of the ceremony, they will also be dedicating a new memorial garden to Aimee, a severely abused husky whose tragic demise has inspired new legislation to create a felony animal abuse registry in Pennsylvania. 

Reindeer Games for the Kidz
Meadville – Everybody is a winner at the Reindeer Games! This Saturday, July 11th, in Vernon Township, the Reindeer Games is a Christmas in July Carnival for and benefiting local children. The games are a midway-inspired bonanza that includes classic fairgrounds favorites like Lucky Duckies, the Ring Toss, Hoop Shoot, and more, and every player is awarded a prize every time. 
The Reindeer Games are all designed and organized by management and employees of Sheetz, and all proceeds go to the Sheetz for the Kidz Fund, used to purchase Christmas gifts for needy families in partnership with the Salvation Army; every dollar raised stays in NWPA. Froggy 100.3 and 98.5 will be there for a Live on Location broadcast from 10 a.m. until noon, so drop by to say hi. Carnival games, Christmas carols, a free play area, and more, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sheetz Store number 337 by the roundabout on the Conneaut Lake Road in Meadville.
