Oil Region Alliance Grants
Oil City – The Oil Region Alliance Recreation and Heritage Mini Grant Program is live and accepting applications for 2027. The mini-grant program can help nonprofit organizations and municipalities with up to $5,000 to be used on projects to improve outdoor recreation and restore the historical charm of the Oil Region. The Oil Region includes all of Venango County and the City of Titusville, Hydetown Borough, and Oil Creek Township in Crawford County. Applications must be submitted on Monday, August 3rd. Goodwill Grand Opening
Meadville – It’s finally happening in Meadville: the grand opening of the brand-new Goodwill store at the Park Avenue Plaza. The store opens for the first time tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. and will celebrate all week long.  There will be a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, and Bullfrog from Froggy 100.3 and 98.5 will be there from 10 until noon. Meadville’s store is part of the Goodwill Foundation of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania and supports job training for people with barriers to employment.
