Two Injured in Crash
Springfield Township, Erie County – Two men were hospitalized after a Monday morning crash in Springfield Township, Erie County. Crash scene investigators say that at the intersection Ridge and West Lake roads 48-year-old Michael O’Brien failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he made a left turn and was hit nearly head-on by another motorist. O’Brien was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries while the other driver was also transported to a hospital for observation.

Frigid Conditions for Friday
Northwest PA – It’s Groundhog Day; upon Gobbler’s Knob Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most famous living rodent, prognosticator of prognosticators, et al, saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter.  Regardless of Phil’s predictions, the region will be in for some seriously cold temperatures tomorrow as a cold front moving across the country passes through, causing temperatures to plummet into the single digits and wind chill factors that will drag air temperatures into sub-zero territory.
