Two Injured in Crash
Springfield Township, Erie County – Two men were hospitalized after a Monday morning crash in Springfield Township, Erie County. Crash scene investigators say that at the intersection Ridge and West Lake roads 48-year-old Michael O’Brien failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he made a left turn and was hit nearly head-on by another motorist. O’Brien was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries while the other driver was also transported to a hospital for observation.
Frigid Conditions for Friday

Regardless of Phil’s predictions, the region will be in for some seriously cold temperatures tomorrow as a cold front moving across the country passes through, causing temperatures to plummet into the single digits and wind chill factors that will drag air temperatures into sub-zero territory.
