Woman struck by Truck Dies
Titusville – A local woman succumbed to her injuries at Titusville Hospital on Friday morning after being hit by a pickup truck. According to the Titusville Police Department, 57-year-old Margaret Proano was struck by the truck while crossing South Franklin Street shortly before 6 AM on Friday morning and an investigation is underway. Temple PD Officer Slain
Philadelphia – A public funeral service for a slain Temple University Police Officer is to be held at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Friday. Officer Christopher Fitzgerald made national headlines after he was shot and killed while responding to a robbery in North Philadelphia on Saturday night; 18-year-old Miles Pfeffer is charged with the crime.  Officer Fitzgerald will be interred in a Huntington Valley Cemetery with full honors.

PA House of Representatives Reconvenes
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives meets for the first time in more than a month today. The General Assembly’s lower chamber has not convened since January when parties fought over who held a majority and failed to pass rules for the 2023 to 2025 session. House Speaker, Mark Rozzi, reconvenes the House at noon today; the Democratic Party has a one seat majority and the orders of business include laying down house rules and passing legislation designed to help victims of childhood sexual assault.
