Investigation Into Deadly Crash
Wilmington Township, Mercer County –The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a deadly crash from Saturday. In Wilmington Township, Mercer County, a Ford F-150 collided with a horse drawn buggy on Newcastle Mercer Road. The impact of the crash was hard enough to throw the occupant from the buggy clear of the wreck where they landed in a field and succumbed to their injuries. The State Police are assisted in their investigation by the Mercer County District Attorney’s Office and Department of Public Safety, as well as a special Collision Analysis unit from Butler.

Doctor Charged with multiple Drug Felonies
Murreysville – Acting Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry announced the arrest of a Westmoreland County Doctor for writing fraudulent prescriptions for medications. Dr. Jessie Kunkle of Murreysville is alleged to have written fake prescriptions for drugs like Adderall and Xanax for patients as long as she could keep a portion of the pills for herself, she is also accused of writing fake prescriptions for personal friends, and of writing and filling prescriptions for herself using the names and insurance information of patients. All told, Dr. Kunkle faces 25 felony charges.
