Investigation Underway into Crash that Injured Two
Bloomfield Township, Crawford County – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a Friday night crash that hospitalized two people for a potential DUI. Police say that the operator of a Jeep Cherokee and his passenger were trapped inside the vehicle after hitting a tree and rolling over at about 1 AM in Crawford County. The driver was airlifted to an undisclosed hospital while his passenger was transportable by ambulance. Authorities believe that the crash was caused by the use of drugs or alcohol.

Unemployment Holds Steady in PA
Harrisburg – Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate was unchanged in January, remaining at 4.3%, record low unemployment that was achieved in December according to PA’s Department of Labor and Industry.

Arrest Made in Road Rage Slaying
Palmyra, New Jersey – A New Jersey man has been arrested in the highly publicized February 5th hit and run death of a man in the parking lot of a Bucks County McDonald’s. Daniel Dietrich of Palmyra, New Jersey, apparently deliberately ran down a Pennsylvania resident named Jason Smith in a road rage incident. Investigators were able to track the suspect down with the help of information volunteered by the public in both states.
