Single Car Crash Hospitalizes Man
Spring Creek – An 83-year-old Waterford man was hospitalized after crashing his vehicle into a tree on Route 426 near Spring Creek in Warren County. Crash scene investigators say he was overcompensating on a left-hand turn and drove off the road into the woods. He was transported to UPMC Hamot by Corry Ambulance.

Casting Call for Horror Film
Meadville – A motion picture is having an open casting call for extras and background characters this Sunday at the Academy Theatre. Pig Hill is a supernatural thriller directed by Kevin Lewis, produced by Ted Watts Jr. of Empty Jug Productions in Meadville, and based on the novel Pig, written by Allegheny College graduate Nancy Williams; it is being filmed this spring at locations around Meadville and Crawford County. The casting call is for volunteers to play extras like bar patrons, hospital employees, and coffee shop workers or to work as stand-ins.
