Sportclips Ribbon Cutting Today
Meadville – The Meadville – Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce is holding a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Sports Clips at Piper Plaza. Piper Plaza is located at 18471 Smock Highway in Vernon Township. Sport Clips is the nation’s largest franchise dedicated to men’s and boy’s hair care; the Chamber of Commerce and Seven Mountains Media will be there today at noon along with franchisee, Aj Rodriguez, to celebrate the Meadville area’s newest business venture.

School Closures
Jamestown Area School District has closed again today as some of their schools are still without electricity from Saturday’s storms.

Kennywood Opening May be Delayed
West Mifflin – Opening Day for one of Pennsylvania’s most iconic amusement parks may be delayed due to possible legal action. Kennywood is expecting to open its doors on April 22nd, but that opening could be delayed if Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappalla does not believe the park has improved security enough after three people were injured during a shooting there last year. Some state and local lawmakers will be visiting Kennywood to see what new security measures are being taken.
