Child in Critical Condition after GSW
Venango County – A 7-year-old child is fighting for her life at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh after what authorities call an accidental gunshot wound. Investigators say that on Friday in Venango County’s Cranberry Township, the girl was struck in the head by a bullet fired from a 9MM pistol while someone was trying to pick it up from a dining room table.  The girl was struck in the head and the bullet passed clean through the front and back of her skull; she was taken to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh where police say she is in critical, but stable condition. The Pennsylvania State Police are still investigating the incident. The weapon belongs to an Indiana man that was visiting the area.


Voter Registration Deadline Looms
Harrisburg – The deadline for voters to be registered for the 2023 primary election is May 1st. This year’s primaries will take place on May 16th.
