Rollover Crash Kills Man
President – One man is dead after a rollover crash in Venango County. 72-year-old Frank Raszowski was the driver of a pickup truck on Old Ferry Road in President Township and crash scene investigators say that at 10:30 on the night of Friday, May 5th he lost control of his vehicle and it rolled onto its passenger side. Neither he nor his passenger were wearing seatbelts; the passenger was taken to a nearby Hospital for evaluation; Mr. Raszowski was declared dead at the scene by Venango County Coroner Christina Rugh.
Committee Approves Redding for Ag Sec
Harrisburg – Yesterday the Pennsylvania Senate’s Agricultural and Rural Affairs committee gave its stamp of approval to allowing Russel Redding to continue to be the commonwealth’s Secretary of Agriculture. Redding held the position under Governors Ed Rendell and Tom Wolf Previously; he is currently the acting secretary since Josh Shapiro took office, and Governor Shapiro felt fit to nominate him again. While meeting with the committee, Redding discussed his plans to focus on the business aspects of farming.
