Fire Arm Theft
Canadhota Lake – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of two firearms from a location near Canadohta Lake. Both were 30-30 lever action rifles that disappeared between sometime in November and earlier this month when the theft was discovered. One of the rifles is a Ruger 336 Marlin; it has a light colored wooden stock and blackened metal barrel and was equipped with a black scope and a leather sling. The second rifle is a Winchester 94 with a dark wood stock; it had a black weaver scope and was also equipped with a sling. PennDOT Work Schedules
Oil City – PennDOT has reopened a bridge on Route 98 in Crawford County’s Vernon Township after the completion of the installation of a box culvert. The original project was to begin on May 2nd, but was delayed by the weather. A full schedule of road work planned this week for Crawford, Mercer, Forest, Erie, Venango, and Warren Counties can be found online at PennDOT.gov/District1. Clarion County is in District 10.
