RED Air Quality Alert
Erie – Air quality is once again a concern across Northwest Pennsylvania with the DEP issuing another RED air quality alert that lasts until midnight tonight. Smoke and particulates from wildfires in Canada are being carried across the great lakes by southerly winds, so the air is considered unhealthy for the general public and especially for those with sensitivities. Those southerly winds will eventually carry the same storms that are blowing ash into our region.

CCDAEC Open House
Meadville – The Crawford County Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission is celebrating 50 years in operation by holding an open house at its office in the Downtown Mall in Meadville this afternoon from 1 to 4 PM. CCDAEC is a private organization dedicated to helping addicts seek treatment and recovery options for their affliction. During the open house, there will be food, tours, and even some door prizes, as well as speakers and demonstrations. Everybody in the area is cordially invited to attend.
