Meadville – Meadville’s City Council is seeking applicants to fill vacancies in two of the city’s volunteer boards. The city seeks one volunteer for the Civil Service Board to finish the remainder of a five-year term that expires on New Year’s Day and also an alternate to serve on the Codes Appeal Board. Five Jehova’s Witness Leaders Charged with Child Rape
Philadelphia – At a Friday press conference, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Michelle Henry announced charges of child sexual assault and exploitation of children against five men who were leaders of Jehova’s Witness congregations across the state. David Balosa, of Philadelphia County; Errol William Hall, of Delaware County; Shaun Sheffer, of Butler County; and Luis Ayala-Velasquez, of Berks County have all been arrested and charged in their home counties for the crimes. A fifth man, Terry Booth, of Panama City Florida is charged in Allegheny County. Wanted Michael Charles Burham
Warren – The Pennsylvania State Police is the primary agency in the search for the missing fugitive Michael Charles Burham who escaped from Warren County Jail late at night last Thursday, July 6th. Burham was incarcerated for kidnapping, burglary, and related charges and was held on $1 million bail. Michael Burham is considered dangerous, he is a self taught survivalist and has military training; he may also be armed. Authorities believe that he may still be in Northwest Pennsylvania, he has black hair and green eyes and stands about 5’9” tall, and his listed weight is 150 pounds. Reward money is offered to anyone who can provide information leading to his arrest.
