In Memory of the Professor
Meadville – A long-time friend of this station and successful Meadville business owner Victor ‘Vic’ Kress passed away unexpectedly this weekend at the age of 84. Known as the Professor, Vic contributed his vast knowledge to provide color commentary for Meadville Bulldogs Sports broadcasts for over 35 years on the Allegheny News Talk Sports Network, he was also an Allegheny college alumnus and called games for the Gators. Vic is survived by his wife Karen and a full obituary will appear in Wednesday’s edition of the Meadville Tribune; Vic will be missed by his friends here at 7 Mountains Media.

PennDOT Work Schedules
Oil City – The winners of PennDOT’s bicycle rodeo held during the Oil Heritage Festival were 5-year-old Peyton Bialo in the 5 to 8 year category and 12-year-old Addison Campbell in the 9-12 year category. PennDOT’s work schedule for this week includes the third phase of construction of a roundabout in Warren that will require closures for north and westbound traffic.
