Three Injured When their SUV Crashes
Mercer – A single vehicle accident hospitalized three people in Mercer County on Saturday evening. A 28-year-old woman, a 39-year-old man, and an 8-year-old boy were all taken to Grove City Hospital in ambulances when their Mitsubishi Outlander crashed through a guard rail in the northbound lane of I-79 in Mercer County while traveling through Findley Township. Crash scene investigators say that witnesses described how the vehicle started to rotate clockwise in the right lane as if it was hydroplaning and then continued to rotate after it smashed through the guardrail and into the median; the Outlander came to rest facing in the opposite direction.
