Electric Meter Stolen
Oil City – In Venango County Police are searching for an unusual stolen item, the electric meter box from the side of a home. On Monday, August 7th, the theft was reported by a 55-year-old man on Camp Coffman Road in Pinegrove Township; the Central Electric Co-Op meter box was taken off of his home between 6 AM when he left and 4:30 PM when he returned. Free School Lunches for Thousands of Students
Saegertown – Penncrest School District in Crawford County will be providing all its lunches and breakfasts to students at no cost in the 2023-2024 school year. They are doing this through the community eligibility program and there is no need for parents to submit an application or take any other action. The free lunches do not include ala carte items, students will need money for those or credit on their lunch accounts.
