Man Airlifted from Crash Scene
Rockland – A Kennerdell man was hospitalized after a Monday night rollover crash in Venango County’s Rockland Township. Shortly after midnight, John Slavinsky suffered multiple injuries to his head, arms, and legs when his vehicle overturned and rolled after traveling about 200 feet through a ditch; he was airlifted to UPMC Hamot after being extricated from the wreck by volunteers from the Seneca and Rockland Fire Departments.

Child Safety Seat Checks
Union City – The Pennsylvania State Police in Corry are conducting free child safety seat checks at their barracks on US Route 6 East in Union City. The checks will take place from 2 to 6 PM; call-in appointments are preferred and can be made by calling (814)663-2043, drive-ins are welcome, but will receive lower priority for their turns. The Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville are also hosting a child safety seat check from 3 to 7 PM at the fire department in Meadville today and tomorrow.
