Man Crashes to Avoid School Bus
Greenville – A Greenville man was hospitalized when he crashed in Mercer County’s West Salem Township while trying to make room for a school bus. On South Maysville road the driver overcorrected while attempting to put more space between his Jeep Cherokee and a school bus at about 7 AM last Thursday; his overcorrection caused his Jeep to roll into a ditch on its passenger side, he was not wearing a seatbelt and was slammed into the passenger door. He was taken to UPMC Hospital in Greenville with unknown injuries.
