Shenango Township Crash
West Middlesex – Details on a tractor-trailer accident that delayed traffic on the west lane of Interstate 80 in Shenango Township, Mercer County earlier this month have finally been revealed. Crash scene investigators say that at 10:30 in the morning on September 16th Charles Grumley of Arvada, Colorado was fatigued and he swerved his semi tractor-trailer and struck a concrete bridge rail with his passenger side. His semi went over the rail and traveled to the end of the bridge rail where it came to final rest. Grumley was taken to UPMC Horizon for treatment of unknown injuries and has also been charged with violating vehicle equipment standards.
PSP Trooper Arrested
Harrisburg – A Pennsylvania State Police officer in Dauphin County has been arrested by his own department and charged with several felonies. Ronald Davis (37) has been accused of using his power as a State Trooper to have a woman he was having an extra-marital affair with committed to a mental hospital after he assaulted her. Davis is suspended from duty without pay pending his trial for strangulation, reckless endangerment, and false imprisonment of his paramour among other crimes, and resides in Dauphin County Prison without bail.
