Fatal Collision Between Pickup Trucks
Linesville – Crawford County authorities report a fatal crash in Summit Township between Linesville and Harmonsburg Saturday afternoon. At about 3:15 PM a 79-year-old man was killed and three others injured when two pickup trucks collided essentially head-on after a driver lost traction on the rain-slicked road surface. Hugh Elliot of Linesville succumbed to injuries he sustained during the crash; the driver of the truck that hit him and passengers in both vehicles were taken to UPMC Hamot for severe injuries. No charges were filed against the driver who hit Mr. Elliot but an investigation is ongoing.

Human Trafficker to be Tried in PA
Monroeville – An Ohio man will be extradited into Pennsylvania to face human trafficking charges.
Donte Lashawn Cole is accused of running a multi-state human trafficking operation in a Monroeville hotel from his home in Ohio. Cole was arrested on Friday morning on charges related to trafficking women and at least one minor for prostitution in Pennsylvania and adjoining states.
