Police Investigate Stolen Cash
Titusville – The Pennsylvania State Police are seeking public help in the investigation into the theft of cash from a local business in the Venango County side of Titusville. On September 18th or 19th, between closing at 11 p.m. and opening at 7 a.m. one or more unknown suspects managed to get inside the office at Cross Creek Resort and steal about $1,400 in cash money. An investigation is ongoing and anybody who may have information is being asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin at (814)676-6596.
Special Winter Parking Rules in Effect
Erie – It’s November 1st, and it’s a snowy morning, which means in many towns and boroughs around the region special winter parking rules are in effect. Towns, Cities, and Boroughs such as Erie and Saegertown have ordinances about which side of certain streets can be used for parking during the snowy period from November until April; other areas around the region may ban street parking altogether for the winter period. Please pay attention and look for signage indicating any special parking regulations where you live and visit.

Meadville Fired Department Food Drive
Meadville – Meadville Central Fire Department’s 8th annual Food Drive is underway. The food drive secures donations for three organizations across Meadville – the Center for Family Services, Women’s Shelter, and Meadville Senior High School Food Locker. The food drive is seeking donations of non-perishable foods like dry goods and canned vegetables but also accepts monetary donations and gift cards which can be used to purchase specific needed items. Dropoff boxes where donations can be made are located in nine areas around Meadville: Meadville City Fire Department, Meadville City Hall, the Crawford County Courthouse, Meadville/Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, The Meadville Market House, The Italian Civic Club, Dollar General in the Downtown Mall, Connect 55, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006.
