Stolen Tree Stand
Conneaut Lake – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of an entire tree stand from a hunting camp located in the woods between Hubbard and Sportsman roads in Crawford County’s Summit Township. The theft was reported on November 10th but may have happened any time between mid-October and early November.  Anybody who may have information about the theft should contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville by calling (814)332-6911.

The ABCs of Meadville
Meadville – The City of Meadville is looking for volunteer applicants for the Authorities, Boards, and Commissions. With a new year approaching, many of the terms for current members of the various advisory boards are going to expire soon and replacements will be needed. Vacancies will be appearing on the Codes Appeal and Zoning Hearing Boards; the Housing, Sewer, and Recreation Authorities; Planning and Zoning and Shade Tree Commissions; and the Environmental Advisory and Streetscaping Committees. Applications can be obtained as a fillable online form by following a link on the City of Meadville’s website or by going to the Meadville City Building at 894 Diamond Park during operating hours (9 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Man Hospitalized After Hitting Deer
Sandy Lake – A Saturday evening collision with a deer injured a Stoneboro man in Mercer County’s Sandy Lake Township. The 27-year-old was driving along Henderson Road at about 5 p.m. when the animal ran into the driver’s side of his vehicle, causing him to lose control and collide with a stump near the side of the road.  He was taken to Sharon Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries of unknown severity. 

Franklin Traffic Safety Needs Survey
Franklin – The City of Franklin is performing a survey for its residents as part of the process of creating a new plan to enhance the safety and comfort of driving on city streets.
