Child Injured by Bullet
Titusville – Police say an investigation is ongoing after a seven-year-old Titusville boy was injured by a bullet on Thursday evening. According to the Pennsylvania State Police based in Corry, a child injured his hand with a .22 caliber round while playing on West Oak Street. They say that the boy wanted to make a whistle with the brass casing of the cartridge and struck it with a hammer. After the hammer set the cartridge off ricocheting bullet fragments struck him on the hand.
PA’s Most Wanted
Harrisburg – After a series of arrests, the Pennsylvania State Police have updated their most wanted fugitives list for the Commonwealth. The most wanted man in Pennsylvania is now a former Erie resident named Michael Edward Akerly who has been in the top 10 for some time. Akerly is wanted for aggravated rape and indecent assault in 1998 and has yet to be captured. Five new men have been added to the list:
- Russel Edward Mason is third on the list and is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender
- Benicio Antoi Benifield is fourth on the list and is wanted for the rape of a child.
- Jimmy Carlton Henry Jr. is sixth on the list and is wanted for the rape of a child.
- Bradley Andrew Buchanan is eighth on the list and is wanted for the rape of a child.
- Brandon Eugene Revis, 10th on the list, is wanted for a homicide in Beaver County.
