Kindergarten Registration Around the Corner
Western PA – Parents and Guardians, if you have young children who will reach the age of five before August 1st, it is nearly that time of year when you need to register them for Kindergarten classes. Local School Districts begin the registration process in March and April; you should check with your school district for the times and places for registration at your child’s future school. All public schools will require you to provide your child’s birth certificate and an immunization record, as well as proof of your residential status and any applicable custody papers; it is well-advised to gather those documents and keep them in a safe place ahead of time.
