Coroner Mum on Homicide CoD
Spartansburg – The homicide of Rebekah Byler, the pregnant 23-year-old Amish woman from Spartansburg is now receiving national news attention. Crawford County’s Coroner, Eric Coston announced yesterday that the preliminary results of an autopsy have been produced but he had decided not to make information about her cause of death available, however, reporters for CBS claim that sources told them that Rebekah had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Pennsylvania State Police based in Corry are the primary investigators of this case and have continued to ask anybody who may have information about suspicious activities around Sportsman’s and Fish Flats roads in Sparta Township to call them at (814)663-2043. The majority of traffic in the area is horses and buggies and police are trying to identify any cars, trucks, or other motor vehicles that may have been in that area on Monday morning when Rebekah was slain.
