Two Women Injured in Crash
Harmonsburg – The Pennsylvania State Police suspect that alcohol was a factor involved in a crash that hospitalized two young women in Crawford County. Crash scene investigators say Leann Sterling (23) of Harmonsburg and her passenger Makayla Mcbryar (22) of Cochranton were both seriously injured in Summit Township shortly before midnight on Monday the 18th. Investigators say that Sterling’s Jeep Cherokee veered off of Harmonsburg Road and drove through a utility pole; both women were rushed to Meadville Medical Center.
Planned Power Outage in Erie County
McKean – On Monday, some Penelec customers in Erie County should be experiencing a planned power outage. Electricity for about 514 customers will be disconnected from 7 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m. while workers replace wires and cross arms at their substation on Millfair Road between McKean and Fairview. Another 400 Penelec customers in the area will experience brief blackouts as their power is rerouted. Those affected will be reminded of the outages by a call to the phone number on their account.
