Details on Cellular Phone Settlement
Harrisburg – Last Thursday, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Michelle Henry released the details about a settlement between all 50 states with the nation’s four biggest mobile phone providers. The settlement reached with AT&T, Verizon, Cricket, and T-Mobile requires the providers to be more truthful in future advertising; especially around misleading customers about fees and costs when purchasing plans or when they acquire a ‘free’ phone that actually costs significant amounts of money.
