Human Remains in Reservoir ID’d
Clark – The remains discovered in the Shenango Valley Reservoir have been identified and a man has been arrested for the victim’s murder. In late June, dismembered human remains were discovered near the Golden Run Wildlife Center in the Shenango Valley Reservoir and a further search of the lake discovered more remains. On Wednesday it was revealed that forensic analysis determined the remains were those of 14-year-old Paul Likens Jr, a missing teenager from Sharon, his cause of death was ruled homicide by sharp force trauma to the head. A local man named DaShawn Watkins was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police and charged with criminal homicide and other crimes in relation to the case.

Bosley Gets Life + 25
Franklin – David Bosley was sentenced to life without the chance for parole, plus 25 to 50 years in a state prison on Wednesday.  In May, Bosley, who has a long history of violence against women, was convicted of the March 26th, 2023 rape and murder of Marcy Nellis. Marcy was a 76-year-old grandmother who lived in Oil City; he attacked her while she was on a walk near the Allegheny River.
