Firefighters Wanted
Meadville – The City of Meadville is taking applications to create an eligibility list for full and part-time firefighters. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be U.S. citizens with a high school degree or equivalent, possess a valid driver’s license that has never been suspended, and possess the proper current certifications in areas like HAZMAT Ops and Fire Essentials among others. Applications are being accepted until next Friday, July 26th at 4 p.m., the screening process will include a criminal background check and more. Application packets can be picked up at the Meadville Building at 894 Diamond Park, or downloaded online at CityofMeadville.org.

Community Yard Sale Days
Titusville, Saegertown – Saturday, July 20th, is Community Yard Sale Day in Titusville and this year the Titusville Chamber of Commerce has jazzed things up with printed maps and even an app that can show you where and when different yard sales are happening across the town. Additionally, the Chamber of Commerce is holding a raffle, tickets for the raffle can be obtained by making a purchase at any participating yard sale.
