County Commissioners to Pay $1 million to State
Harrisburg – Two Fulton County Commissioners and an attorney who was sanctioned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court have been ordered to pay the Commonwealth around $1 million in legal fees after years of lawsuits. Commissioners Stuart Ulsh and Randy Bunch, as well as attorney Thomas Carol, gave outside firms access to Dominion voting machines used in their county without the approval of the Board of Elections in an attempt to gather evidence in a lawsuit against the PA Department of State seeking to nullify the results of the 2020 Presidential election. None of the multiple parties that were given access to the machines were ever contracted by the county or the Department of State to perform their investigations and other members of the Fulton County Commission did not find out about the access until it had already happened.
Dominion Voting Machines was widely blamed by Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign and its lawyers for what it claimed were inaccuracies that led to his defeat in the last presidential election. Ulsh, Bunch, and Carol launched their own unsanctioned and unsuccessful investigation into the machines used in Fulton County. They were countersued by the Department of State for undermining chain of custody requirements in Pennsylvania Law.
