One Injured in Flaming Car
West Middlesex – In Mercer County, Police are investigating a fiery crash that injured a man in West Middlesex Tuesday morning. The single-vehicle crash happened between 2:30 and 3 a.m. on Sharon Road, first responders say that the man was trapped inside the vehicle as it caught on fire, but two people who lived nearby were able to save him before his injuries became fatal. The man’s identity has not been revealed, but we know he was taken to St. Elizabeth’s for treatment.

Plastics Plant Plans Major Expansion
Meadville – C&J Industries will receive a $3 million loan from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to help fund a $7 million expansion of their chief facility in Meadville. The Employee-Owned plastics company which is headquartered in Meadville will add over 24,000 square feet of manufacturing space and will also be building an enclosed walkway to connect its manufacturing and warehouse buildings. The new expansion is anticipated to create at least 66 new full-time positions within the company once the work is completed.
Meadville-based C&J Industries has been headquartered in Downtown Meadville since 1962.
