Man Attacks Children’s Basketball Game
Aliquippa – Police in Beaver County have made no arrests, but say they have a suspect after a man started shooting at children playing basketball at a park in Aliquippa on Sunday.  At the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Jefferson Street, a suspect in a black Jeep drove up toward the children, exited his vehicle, and began shooting at them with a handgun. Police say they have adult witnesses to the attack and footage from a home security camera showing the incident; fortunately, nobody was injured. 

Pedestrian Killed in Crosswalk
Erie- A man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of East 12th and German Streets in Erie on Saturday night. Police say that the man walked into the crosswalk against the light at around 11 p.m. and was struck by a Chevy Cruz that couldn’t stop in time; the driver is cooperating with Erie Police. The victim was a 38-year-old man who Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook says was declared dead at the scene of the incident, his name has not been released publically but he is said to have an Erie address. This is the 7th lethal incident involving a pedestrian in Erie this year.

Superload Still Passing Through I-80
Northwest PA – If you altered your commute yesterday to avoid a 150-ton superload on Interstate 80, you may want to do so again after the load was rescheduled to travel through the region today. The 30-foot-wide and 140-foot-long superload will take up both lanes of I-80 East as it makes its way to Jefferson County to leave the Interstate at Exit 78.  The superload and accompanying convoy of vehicles will not reach speeds exceeding 30 miles per hour throughout its journey which will take it the entire length of Mercer, Venango, Butler, and Clarion Counties.
