Police Investigate Ransacked Storage Sheds
Titusville – The Pennsylvania State Police based in Franklin are investigating the theft of multiple items from a Titusville man’s property. Police say unknown actors ransacked the property on Hamilton Corners Road in Cherrytree Township, breaking into vehicles and storage sheds and taking a variety of items from them. A non-exhaustive list provided by the State Police says that the suspects stole two motorcycles; a 1998 Suzuki and a 1970 Yamaha Gold, hunting clothes, electric beer signs, a riding lawnmower with two small engines, vintage adult magazines, and more. Woman Charged with Felony Retail Theft
Mercer – A Chicago Illinois woman is charged with felonies for retail theft in Mercer County. Authorities say that in August, Xochit Reyes shoplifted nearly $6,000 worth of merchandise from two retailers at the Grove City Outlets. The 26-year-old is charged with two third-degree felonies for retail theft and misdemeanors for possessing instruments of retail theft. Security footage reviewed by the Pennsylvania State Police shot her in the act of stealing thousands of dollars worth of clothes from two retailers. Court records say she remains in jail in Mercer County, unable to secure bail or a bond.
