Failed Robbery Attempt
Erie – Police in Erie are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Domino’s Pizzeria Thursday afternoon. The suspect threatened workers with a cordless drill wrapped in a plastic bag and demanded money, but an employee recognized the fake weapon and refused so the suspect fled the store without any dough. The incident happened at about 4:45 p.m. on West 14th Street, police say the suspect was a slim man, short in stature, between 25 and 35, and wearing dark clothing. Key Members of Retail Theft/Gun Running Gang Arrested
Pittsburgh – In State News, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Michelle Henry announced the arrest of principal members of the “Six Figure Boys”, an organized retail theft and gun trafficking ring operating in the Northview Heights neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Arrests include the pawn shop owner who bought and sold firearms stolen by the gang and their alleged leader Rami Hamden-Toto. Authorities covered eight stolen weapons, $120,000 in cash, and tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise including lawnmowers and brand-new Apple products.
